Here's another little-known fact on your favorite Shin:

Most game characters she's grown to love, she grew up loving cartoonified adaptions of them first. XD Mainly for the case of anything Super Mario Brothers or Sonic the Hedgehog, which may be why I can't get into their recent games very well.

The Super Mario Brothers Super Show (and all spinoffs following it, though Super Mario World sucked because it didn't have Toad in it XD) is the very first show I fangirled at in my young tender life of 5 years old. It sticks to me on-and-off, so much that I'm always trying to download episodes from it whenever I get the chance just so I can absorb the nostalgia of it all. So, this one time I was able to get this one episode called "Kootie Pie Rocks", which is from the SMB3 series. Kootie Pie was the cartoon version of Wendy O. Koopa, one of my favorite Koopalings along with Ludwig/Kooky.

Basically, there's a Milli Vanilli concert in New York (mind you this cartoon was made during 1990/1991 or so XD) and Princess Toadstool (this was also before the time we followed Japan's ritual of calling her Peach!), apparently a Milli Vanilli fangirl, dressed like this for the whole episode. I know, man... MILLI VANILLI. The frauds! They even guest starred in this episode and got kidnapped by King Koopa and all that jazz. It was a really mixed up episode.

But you know, I like Princess Toadstool, Milli Vanilli fangirl a lot better than Princess Peach, the one less proud than Princess "HI I'm Daisy!!". Right down to the fact that the cartoon version of the Princess had red hair instead of blonde. In fact, I think the Princess had reddish-brown hair right up until Super Mario World... XD Who knows, though. I'm a very weird little girl.

I'm a Milli Vanilli fan too. They got all the blame, even though it was their producer who wouldn't let them sing. They actually got fired for asking to sing for real.

If anyone wants to see an actual performance of theirs, here's one they did on German TV with their own voices, right after the scandal was revealed.
